The Academic Resource Center (ARC)offers free, yes FREE math tutoring for any student in the following classes: Math 0900-2250 and Statistics 1040, 2000, 3000. Tutor labs are located in the Taggart Student Center Room 225A and Lundtrom Student Living Center. If you are in a math class this semester you should make it a habit to schedule time in the math lab for completing your homework. The English Department sponsors a writing lab that although not free to all students (your ENGL 1010 lab fee allows you to utilize this service for free the semester you are enrolled), it is available to all students for a nominal fee. Studies has proven that on average, students that utilize this service earn a half a letter grade higher (minimum) overall. It is important to schedule an appointment to ensure availability.
